Sept 1 thru 20nd Early Canadian goose hunt
Opening weekend wasn't very good to warm not many guy's moving birds around, Meet some new hunters and had a good hunt thou.got better the first week,started shooting a few bird's,still to warm but starting to see some new birds moving into area Birds seam to be decoy shy.second weekend was good shot birds sat and Sunday,and hunting was good all week need more guys in the field .last week of early season was also pretty good seen flocks every day I was out.I'll put some new picture's on here soon of this yr hunts,Shot two banded geese

Sept 27 Early Duck and Goose opener
We well be in Windom hunting, Lot's of teal around this year,seen a few mallards not as many woodys as last year.Had several flocks of geese circle the pond we shot two geese on Sunday..The weather was really nice all weekend,there where more guy's hunting the area then last year but could still be more to keep moving the birds around.Shot my limit both days.,He is coming along just great,love to go get them ducks and he really like those two geese we shot on Sunday,they almost landed in the boat,not as many woody's this yr,but still easy to get your limit,just me and glen tasler hunting this yr,

We had a good hunt
Lots of ducks and geese moved in this lat week of closed season,even see a flock of about 50 lesser Canadian geese tonight . Marsh lake has been good , NOt much water but lots of ducks and geese, most lesser geese i'v see ever.

Doesn't look good, early scouting not many birds in the area .Haven't heard a rooster cock in all my morning's duck hunting so far.A few birds around,shot 3 roosters that didn't even cackle when jumped Thinking lots of late hatches this yr

Spring Goose Hunt - South Dakota. New connection are made for this years's hunt. Red Stag would like to invite you to book a hunt for the 2021 Spring Snow Goose Hunt in South Dakota. If you book before JAN 1 2021 it's 200.00 a day. We have New vortex machines and GHG full body decoy ,silo socks and flyers and several E-callers set up for this year, also have a Cow Decoy for the field for guys wanting to try it.. Some days we will be Jump shooting ,Pass shooting or guide will set you up at the edge the field and geese will be pushed over you. The current rates are $250.00 a day which includes Guide,Dogs, Decoys,layout blinds ,white sheets and guides scouting new area's daily to stay ahead of the migration. $50.00 a day deposit holds your days and area. You need to buy are own license they where $45.00 last year, which can be bought out there just about anywhere or over the Internet you'll need a printer, so you have a copy with you. There is app now for phones, Bird day limit - Unlimited. Gun's can be unplugged. Recommend 12GA BB,BBB,T steel shot and suggest you have one box of 2's or 4's for cripple's. Red Stag will be supplying the dogs to retrieve downed birds but if you want to begin your dog that's fine It's great training for young or seasoned dogs.
Bookings can be separate days or days in a row. And for those who can go whenever they want, we can put you on call. Arrangements can be made to whatever works best for you or your group We look forward to hunting with old buddy's and new friends, This is a great hunt, if you haven't done once you should. Early Canadian goose season
Red Stag would like to invite you to book a hunt for the 2021 Sept early goose season ,We hunt hay fields till some corn has been chopped and water depends where the geese are over our New focked head, full body decoy set up's, Bigfoot's full bodys, GHG full body motion , regular and magnum shells, Cabalas or Gander mountain layout blinds,Guides will do calling and flagging .Scouting looks good so far. Geese are just starting to bunch up and fly around. Looks like a good hatch this year , We well be hunting this early season contact me for openings and where we are going to be hunting, Looks to be a good opener labor day weekend around here,.Blinds ,decoy's and dogs supplied to retrieve downed bird's.Hunting done mostly private land.
